Lawsuit caps count: I'm interested to know how a group of lawyers comes up with the idea that the medical malpractice crisis was just an insurance cycle and that the lawsuit caps are doing nothing. The caps keep the lawyers from being able to extort large settlements prior to the doctor's day in court. Now doctors can go to court because they are not as worried about large losses. The fact is it's not perfect, but it's working. If it were just an insurance cycle, the whole country would be suffering...
