The "green" green bag, made of woven recycled plastic (and very sturdy), appears to be about a third bigger than the ones I've collected from Schnucks. I bought a young double-file viburnum about two years ago. The plant had a label showing white flowers and also one showing berries. It has never bloomed or had any berries. Why? The plant looks healthy and gets late afternoon sun.

A little piece of history passed through Belleville this week on its way to the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, D.C. One of the panels from the Illinois delegation's standard at the Democratic National Convention in Denver came home with Illinois Rep. Tom Holbrook of Belleville. The panel was signed by most of the members of the delegation and is on its way to the Smithsonian.
